Presto America's Favorite Foods has been providing Italian restaurants, pizza shop operators, colleges and universities with both highly specialized service and a distinct inventory of products for nearly 50 years.

Italian and pizza food products and all the smallwares and equipment to perfectly prepare and serve your menu items is our one and our only focus. Aligning ourselves with the specialty needs of our customers has earned Presto the reputation as THE Italian and pizza consultants in the specialty foodservice market place.

1940 thru 1980
Presto began as a pizza equipment company in the 1940's. Located in Dayton, Ohio we were known as Ohio Food Equipment. From there we evolved into pizza foodservice in the early 1960's as Ohio Pizza Products.

1980 thru 2001
An acquisition program was set into motion in the mid 1980's. This program enabled us to acquire seven competing company's, four in the Cincinnati/Dayton market and three others in the Columbus, Ohio, Lexington, Ky. and Indianapolis, In. areas. With these acquisitions came a change in our company name to, Presto "America's Favorite Foods". This name better identified our expansion into the Italian restaurant arena.

In 2001 the Lexington and Indianapolis facilities were merged into a larger warehouse in Louisville, Ky. With this completed Presto offered its special brand of foodservice sales, products and distribution to the Italian and pizza trade out of three distribution centers, Dayton, Louisville and Columbus.

2002 to the present
As a company we have continued our tremendous sales growth through internal sales produced by our Specialty Food Consultant sales group,"our people on the street serving your needs". Their successful activities have propelled Presto into one of the largest specialty Italian and pizza foodservice distributors in the world with sales approaching ninety million dollars.

This growth dictated the move from our Dayton headquarters warehouse to a new eighty thousand square food distribution center in northern Cincinnati. This state of the art facility is ASI certified and features thousands of square feet of new walk-in freezers, coolers and refrigerated docks. Add to this our Louisville and Columbus distribution centers each stocked with forty thousand square feet of quality Italian and pizza food products and you now have a true supplier that has the capability of understanding and fulfilling your every need and desire.
